Target Logistics Welcomes Four New Team Members to Houston Office

In an effort to continue the high level of service and expertise our customers are accustomed to, we’re excited to announce four key additions to our team. Each brings their unique qualifications and experience to help us improve service to our customers, our guests and our staff. Read on to learn more about these key additions.
Margarita Salazar, MS, SPHR, SHRM-SCP – Director of Human Resources
“Margie” Salazar has recently joined the team in the role of Director of Human Resources. Margie has over twenty-five years’ experience in Human Resources and holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and her Senior Certified Professional (SCP) recognition from the Society of Human Resource Management. Her primary role is to develop strategic programs that will support employee engagement, build morale, and reduce turnover to continue to make Target an Employer of Choice.
Margie holds a Bachelor of Science in HR Management from Western Governors University, and a Master of Science Degree in Management and Leadership.
Chuck Ayers, CPA – Controller & Vice President of Accounting
Chuck Ayers has recently joined the team in the role of Controller and VP of Accounting. Chuck has worked in the oil and gas services industry for over 25 years. His most recent role was the VP of Finance for an offshore drilling startup. His tenure includes six years as the controller for the most profitable division of a leading offshore drilling company. He has also held various financial roles with many of the leading companies in the oil and gas industry that include Schlumberger, National Oilwell Varco, McDermott, and Noble Drilling.
Chuck is a CPA and holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Texas in Austin.
Tracy Dunn – Director, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Tracy Dunn has recently joined the team in the role of Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) where he will provide analytical support for Target’s strategic and operational initiatives of the business. Tracy brings a broad range of finance experience gained through holding other leadership roles in FP&A, Financial Reporting, Cash Management, and Information Technology. Most recently, Tracy worked at Nexeo Solutions where he was hired to build out the FP&A group for the Chemicals division of the private equity owned distribution company. Tracy was later promoted to manage commercial finance for all Nexeo divisions in addition to being the finance leader for the company’s acquisition activities.
Tracy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of Missouri, a Master’s degree in Finance from Webster University, and an MBA from Washington University.
Kevin Horton – Director of Marketing & Commercial Excellence
Kevin Horton has recently changed roles to that of Director of Marketing & Commercial Excellence. Kevin joined Target’s Sales Team two (2) years ago as a Senior Business Development Manager, and in his new role he will be assisting in the development of company marketing plans and helping to guide and direct all aspects of Target’s Sales and Marketing execution throughout North America.
Kevin will be responsible for brand management, digital marketing, lead generation programs, as well as other operational and strategic marketing initiatives.
