Following Hurricane Katrina, Target Logistics provided Tulane University with housing for students, staff and faculty who were displaced by the hurricane.

MODULAR HOUSING
Student housing was erected in a location on campus, and consisted of 38 custom modular dormitory buildings stacked two high.

The area had to be prepped for set-up of the buildings and all utilities had to be installed. The modular buildings, designed by Tulane and Target Logistics' architects and designers, and built in Houston TX, were 14' x 50' with two separate living areas for two people on each side and a capacity of 152.


CRUISE SHIP HOUSING
Target Logistics also housed Tulane students, faculty & staff, and FEMA & USPHS employees aboard the MV Dream cruise ship, docked in New Orleans. The ship was docked for 5 months, and provided up to 1100 people with beds, 24-hour catering, business centers, a gym and entertainment. Target Logistics staffed and managed every detail of the cruise ship, including housekeeping, common area maintenance, security, food service and reception.

He gave us as good a room as possible understanding our situation of being bumped from our hotel due to the FEMA injunction that was passed on Thursday morning (1/12).
